Pros & Cons of Living in LA

Pros and cons of living in LA

Moving to Los Angeles has always been a dream to me. I’m finally here! Although I am happy and content with life, the putrid smell of downtown LA and the parties full of the fakes are a downside to the City of Angels. Here’s a list of pros and cons of living in LA.

Cons!

  • Sad stories of people falling off the wagon

  • Smells, smells, and more smells anywhere downtown ( just NASTYYY)

  • Traffic, to sum this is a big con but it doesn’t bother me to blast music while we cruise down the 405.

  • Fake people everywhere OMG!! Everyone thinks everyone in LA is beautiful. Maybe on the outside, but most people I’ve met here will be really cool one day,the next? You are complete strangers.

  • Don’t be surprise if you get flaked on either, I know, I know , it’s trash!!!

Pros!

I’m more of a “bad news first” kind of person, but on to the milk and honey!

  • The people! (But I thought they were all fake?!) You have your fair share of toxic people in the city, but there’s also the coolest people here too. You’ll meet artists, fashion stylists, photographers, plastic surgeons, and old men that just want to give you money! Haha!! Bottom line is, all the dope careers are in Los Angeles. Networking and making connections is key! You never know who’s behind you in line at target.

  • The weather is just plain dope. Having a Thanksgiving dinner on the beach is not a thing where I’m from, so knock yourself out and hit up Manhattan Beach for a lovely turkey day.

  • Money! There are plenty of ways to hustle in LA. Signs are everywhere for auditions, and the more people you talk to, the more opportunities. There’s always going to be people who need their make up done, pictures taken, or even a tour guide in Hollywood.

  • Living here just has a certain vibe that makes me happy all the time and I love it!

  • If you live anywhere in the Los Angeles area, or even the valley, capturing cute Instagram photos will be a breeze; a beautiful backdrop in the perfect lighting from the golden sun rays.

  • Living here makes you want to be the best you can be.

  • There’s always something to do. Parties every weekend (speaking of the weekend, I almost crashed his birthday party one weekend.) Also, cool restaurants and pop-up shops are fun. Melrose Ave. is one of my favorite places to shop to find unique, but also trendy pieces for my wardrobe. *Thanks for subscribing and don’t forget to comment on what articles you would like to read next!
